Grand opening and Dedication of Orphan Grain Train, New England Branch will be celebrated on Sunday June 1st at 4 pm.

The celebration will be held at the Warehouse location, 22 South Main St, Terryville, CT

A reception will follow at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8 Maple St, Terryville.  The community is invited.

Orphan Grain Train has an ongoing need for donated items of all kinds. The following list contains items you may have, just collecting dust in your basement, attic or storage unit. We would love to have any of the following items:

    Layettes
    Stuffed toys

  2. Medical Equipment and Supplies

    Bandages and tapes
    Bed and bath linens
    Sheets (adult and crib sizes)
    Disposable gowns and gloves
    Hospital beds (hand-crank with vinyl mattresses
    Prosthetic limbs
    Walkers, wheelchairs, crutches and canes
    Stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, and otoscopes

  3. Drug store items

    Hygiene Kits
    Shampoo
    Sanitary products for women
    Toothbrushes
    Diapers for adults and babies

  4. School Supplies

    Backpacks
    New coloring books
    Crayons
    New pens and pencils
    Loose leaf paper and notebooks
    Sports equipment such as soccer balls

  5. Non-breakable kitchen supplies

  6. Clothing (gently used or new)

    Infant and children’s clothing
    Children’s shoes, clean and wearable
    New underwear (we do not accept used undergarments as customs officials will levy fines if used underwear is sent in our shipments.)
